We welcome everyone who visits Busan National University of Education (BNUE), a national university that started life as Busan Normal School in 1946. BNUE has a proud history and tradition as a leading Korean teacher‑training institution and has produced outstanding elementary‑school teachers such as Lee Chun‑gil, who gave his own life to save a young pupil. In the post‑COVID era the University is taking on new challenges: in addition to its proud history, it aims to become “a university that trains educational leaders who can innovate primary education, supports an academic community researching future‑oriented primary education, and leads innovation in primary education.”

We will build a sustainable educational ecosystem through innovation in learning spaces and education, reform our digital online system to meet the demands of the post‑COVID era, and pioneer innovation in elementary education. BNUE will grow together with the nation and local communities.
